Bare Bones Hot Chocolate - Salted

Made using Bare Bones' bean to bar chocolate, their hot chocolate is handcrafted in micro-batches using single-origin Dominican cacao and stone-ground Maldon sea salt.

This is a beautifully balanced salted hot chocolate. It is rich in caramel tones and delicate nutty flavours – working very well with cows milk and alternatives. It displays the natural complexity of the cacao without additives, flavourings or excess sugars.

Method:
Add 150ml of milk (we recommend full-fat cows milk or Oatly whole milk) to a saucepan with 30g of chocolate and put on low heat. Mix with a whisk until all the chocolate is melted. Continue to heat until warmed through - make sure not to simmer or overheat.

This ratio really displays the quality of the cacao creating an incredibly special hot chocolate.
